Anuga, 2009
10-14 October 2009 - Cologne, Germany
In 2009, Ming Foods exhibited at Anuga for the first time.
Anuga is billed as "the most important trade show for the trade and food service/catering market." In 2007, over 6,500 exhibitors from 95 countries showcased their products to more than 160,000 visitors from 174 countries.
Ming Foods promoted its wholesale packs of premium-quality pancakes for Peking duck and crispy duck. Tapping into the growing consumer trends for ethnic foods and flavours in the rest of Europe, the company also showcased its retail packs of pancake wraps, launched at IFE 2009.
For the retailer, distributor or importer, a private label thin pastry manufacturing service is available.
Other food manufacturers can also use Ming Foods' innovative thin pastry as an ingredient in meal kits, ready meals or ethnic snacks.

A Taste of Britain 2009
23-24 September 2009 - British High Commission, Nicosia, Cyprus
As part of a delegation of 17 British food and drink companies and with the support of UK Trade and Investment (UKTI), Ming Foods exhibited at the Taste of Britain mini tradeshow held in the grounds of the British High Commission in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The two-day event was attended by Cyprus' leading importers, retailers and distributors.

Race For Life 2009 - London to Blackheath
Sunday 5 July 2009
Race For Life is the UK's largest women-only fundraising event. Held every year since 1994, more than 4M women have taken part in a 5km walk, jog or run to raise over £240M for Cancer Research UK.
Ming Foods' female members of staff will be participating as the Supercrawlers in the Race For Life London to Blackheath event on Sunday 5th July.

London to Brighton Charity Bike Ride 2009

In support of the British Heart Foundation (BHF), Ming Foods' enthusiastic cycling team, The Flying Pancakes, will be taking part in the London to Brighton event on Sunday 21 June 2009.
The London to Brighton event is the UK's largest charity bike ride with around 27,000 cyclists taking part. Since BHF's involvement in 1980, more than £40M has been raised by over 650,000 cyclists.

IFE 2009
15th - 18th March 2009 - ExCeL Centre, London UK
 IFE 2009 marks the official launch of Ming Foods' retail packs of restaurant-quality pancake wraps.
Each retail pack contains three servings of 10 pancake wraps and a recipe card with a recipe and serving suggestions.
End-consumers can now re-create the experience of Peking duck and Chinese Crispy duck at home as well as snacks such as spring rolls, samosas and poppadoms for packed lunches and dinner parties.
Other products promoted at IFE 2009 include canapé cups for foodservice use, suitable for both savoury or sweet hors d'oeuvres.
